Zinque is a luxury patisserie based in Mumbai, offering premium desserts and gifting products. As a premium brand, profitable growth for them depends on reaching high-intent customers rather than driving traffic at scale.

The Challenge

Zinque’s Google Ads account had historically performed well, delivering a consistent 2–3x ROAS, with some periods even exceeding 4x. However, following a change in ownership and agency in 2023, performance declined steadily.

When we took over in April 2025, their ROAS had dropped significantly and was only beginning to recover, sitting at approximately 1.96. The business needed predictable, profitable growth, over experiments or short-term fixes.

We set a clear expectation with the client — our goal was to restore the account to a 3x + ROAS within three months.

Phase 1 - Fixing the Foundations

Our initial audit showed that the issue was not in the account’s structure or campaign setup, but rather in basic execution.

Instead of rebuilding immediately, we fixed the fundamentals.

These changes were deliberate and controlled. The goal was to stabilise performance before attempting drastic changes and hindering growth.

Phase 2 - Early Recovery and Scaling

By July 2025, the account reached a 3.14 ROAS, hitting our three-month target in just two months. This marked the first time the account had crossed 3x ROAS since the ownership transition.

With stabilised performance, we began increasing spend carefully to scale the account while monitoring efficiency closely.

In August 2025, Zinque’s website went down for 1–2 days. Traffic continued, conversions stopped, and automated bidding lost momentum, causing a sharp drop in ROAS.

After the site was restored, we attempted to stabilise performance within the existing campaign structure. However, when results remained inconsistent, it was clear that the account needed to be rebuilt.

Phase 3 - Rebuilding the Account

The rebuild was executed methodically over three months, with a focus on long-term stability rather than short-term recovery.

We focused on -

  • Extensive keyword research to find intent-driven terms to target.

  • Rewriting ad copies to align with luxury and quality to filter intent.

These changes were not implemented earlier because, if done prematurely, they can destabilise an account. Here, timing mattered.

Results and Current Performance

Results and Current Performance

Following the rebuild, Zinque’s Google Ads account returned to consistent profitability and is now delivering 3x–4x+ ROAS while scaling spend steadily.

Performance is stable, budget increases no longer compromise efficiency, and the account is structured for sustainable growth rather than short-term gains.
